Summary
To organise transportation and the scheduling of production in conjunction with the Depot Manager to ensure customer order requirements are met. The receipt and control of raw materials, and the associated record keeping. Receiving telephone calls in a polite and efficient manner. • Effective communication skills, liaising with both customers and hauliers • Transport planning for customer and company requirements • Taking remedial action with any delivery problems • Good time management skills • Responsibility for processing stock delivery tickets • Responsibility for processing delivery tickets and invoices • Health, safety, and environmental responsibilities • Team player – link between hauliers, staff, and customers • IT literate on Weighsoft and Microsoft systems • To ensure compliance for legislation and policies
